A2B-online launches a new freight route between the Netherlands and Italy

21.01.2025

On January 11, the first fully loaded A2B-online Express train with 41 containers successfully departed from the port of Moerdijk (Netherlands) to Melzo (Italy)

This route, which currently operates three times a week, will be expanded to four times a week from March 2025. The new service offers a direct connection between the Netherlands and Italy, optimizing the supply chain and reducing delivery times.

For A2B-online, this project is an important milestone in the company’s development. The new train not only speeds up international transport, but also represents an environmentally sustainable alternative to road transport. The company would like to thank all partners and customers who supported the launch of this route, including LTE Netherlands B.V., CCT, and the internal A2B-online teams.

A2B-online also shared a video of the first train departure, highlighting the significance of this moment for international logistics.
