The parties agreed to increase the pace of work, attract additional resources and accelerate the arrangement of work sites. The Chinese side confirmed its readiness to intensify design work and begin large-scale excavation work as soon as possible.
The Bakhty-Ayagoz railway should be completed by the end of 2027. The project is considered a key element of transport and logistics cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, strengthening the transit potential of the region. KTZ and the leadership of the Abay region provide full support for the implementation of the construction.
