KTZ strengthens international cooperation at the China-Europe Forum in Xi’an

JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy signed a number of strategic documents at the Second China—Europe Forum for International Cooperation in Xi’an

The agreements are aimed at developing the China—Europe route, promoting the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (TITR), and expanding partnerships with major Chinese logistics operators.

KTZ Express and YXE Trading Service Group signed a memorandum of understanding on strategically deepening cooperation, which envisages the development of joint services and increased efficiency in transportation between Asia and Europe. Furthermore, KTZ, together with partners from Kazakhstan, Georgia, China, and TITR entities, signed an initiative for the high-quality development of the Trans-Caspian route, focused on digitalization, sustainability, safety, and the stable operation of container express trains.

KTZ also signed memoranda of understanding with the China Development Bank and the Export-Import Bank of China, creating new opportunities to strengthen Kazakhstan’s transit potential. All signed documents fulfill President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s directive to strengthen the country’s role as a key link in Eurasian logistics.
