China train delivers medical products to Czechia

After a 15 day long journey, a block train from Xi’an in central China arrived in Pardubice in Czechia on Sunday, 14 June 2020.

The train carried 46 containers full of medical disposable clother, masks, gloves and other medical equipment. The products are primarily intended for hospitals in Prague and Pardubice.

The transport was organised jointly by CD Cargo Logistics, Kedentransservis, Transcontainer, Economou Shipping and PKP. On its journey, the train passed through Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Poland, the Czechian railfreight company CD Cargo said.

Over the last few weeks, China trains have delivered medical products to several European countries, including Germany and France. (ben)
